1. The Mermaid Inn
Ok so we all love a mermaid, right? Who doesn’t. The name of this venue captivated me straight away with its cool, unique take on hen accommodation. There are some epic features in the Mermaid inn, breathtaking panoramic views are high on the wow list. It has 13 bedrooms and is exclusively yours for the whole weekend. It has a fantastic dining room with a table that sits 34 people. Now that’s impressive in itself but this made me think of the gigantic space you can have to dance once it’s pushed to one side. Ok so who wants their own bar? Yes, you heard right, your own bar, games room and loads of space inside and outside. I’m slightly biased with this venue as I generally think it’s a great find on the venue search.
2. White Manor
Modern, just a nod to tradition with its oak beam and large room sizes. Not only are there loads of bedrooms it also has 8 reception rooms so you will be spoilt for choice for which room to plan that fun dance routine in. Head on outside and you will never get bored, a gym, tennis court, hot tub, jacuzzi, full size snooker table and an epic outside BBQ area. It is beautifully looked after inside and out with loads of room for you to have everyone attend just the one hen do. A pool you say? Pet friendly you say? Yes and yes. It’s a great party house and you can even take your beloved pooches along so you don’t have to worry about pet care. What more could you want.
3. Forest Lodge
So, you want to get back to nature yet have that all important party vibe, then look no further that this venue choice. Two large properties that have breathtaking views of the lakes, together they are combine in a stunning courtyard and sleep up to 16. If you are looking for a venue that allows you some good quality time to spend together with loads of outdoor activities then this is the one for you. Inside there are log fires to stay nice and cosy, large reception rooms ideal for dancing and the perfect real wood interior for that rustic forest feel.
4. Roaches Hall
This venue is on the larger size so great if you have a very large group of friends or two sets of friends you want to combine into one massive hen weekend away. These guys pride themselves on you being able to ‘ get away from it all’ and you sure can here. Leave work and those bills and worries behind and indulge in some much-needed rest, fun and quality time with friends. This venue looks straight out of a film set with its picturesque landscapes and stunning interiors. This house could be used as a quiet retreat but you are on your hen do! Check out the newly fitted out sound system, great for our dance parties and for you girls to dance and sing into the night. There are so many things to do with this venue but just take a moment to appreciate the sheer beauty that surrounds this amazing house. Look up at the stars from the garden area and smile.
